| Professor Blubber |
Professor Blubber is the South Australian Whale Centre's very own resident Whale Specialist. His role at the Centre is to monitor whales across the Encounter Coast and to help students learn about whales and the marine environment.
Professor Blubber has lots of friends who help him during his programs as he can be quite forgetful and often counts on the students to help him too. |
His favourite activity is researching and teaching everyone about Southern Right whales which he does through fun water based science experiments.
Professor Blubber has a collection models, which students can use to see how whales spout water... He especially likes playing with these and getting everyone wet!
Professor Blubber will be putting on a special show for all the children at the WhaleTime PlayTime festival in July, so make sure you come along and join in the fun. |
