The 2013 Whaletime Playtime Festival has been transformed into a great new format. The festival site will be focussed around the SA Whale Centre with a great range of kids activities all day. An entry fee of $5 will include all the activities and entertainment plus free face painting, free balloon animals, free bouncy castle and carousel rides plus entry into the SA Whale Centre. |

On the main stage will be the very popular Ronald McDonald, Amazing Drumming Monkeys, Daniel Larcombe and new to this years festival will be the Didgeridoo Hunter. There is plenty of parking and food within close proximity to the festival. Click on the programme page for more information. |

Whale Season Launch at the SA Museum Friday 31st May This year the Whale Season Launch will be held on the lawns of the SA Museum on Friday 31st May. Professor Blubber and his team will entertain along with guest speakers, kids activities, artefacts & more! A variety of hand on experiences will be available for everyone to help us celebrate the start of the 2013 Whale Season. Proudly sponsored by City of Victor Harbor, South Australian Whale Centre, Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism and the South Australian Museum. Professor Blubber Grossology show - 10.30am and 2.00pm. Professor Blubber and his Team perform a 25 minute stage show using music, humour and interactive participation to enthuse students about whales, whale watching and the marine environment of South Australia (Year R-7). Grubs Up sessions – 11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm. This truncated session explains the feeding techniques of baleen whales; it is an interactive hands on session and runs for approximately 30 minutes (Year 3-7).
